” CPA Mastery Success.. “
This case study is something I am stoked to share with you. I’ve been operating my offices in our local area now for over 7+ years, and in that time NONE of my employees have any Internet Marketing. They handle operations, accounting, affiliate payments all kinds of things BUT NOT actual marketing. This year I decided to change that .. and our results were INCREDIBLE. I also invited my support staff manager (Matt) on board to learn as well. I figured hey if my head of support can do this that means we will be providing great support if/when we teach it to other people.
The goal was simple:
– Take 4 people who have NEVER sent an email in their life and see how profitable they can be within 30 days.
– Use the CPA Mastery secrets (the ones taught right here in ED by Ricco if you purchased the CPA Mastery Course…)
– Log the results.
Our first YEAR of this (2014) we literally made NO MONEY… I am talking NOTHING….We failed at every single step miserably and I almost completely gave up on the entire idea. It wasn’t the people sending the emails that were the problem, it was the process that simply wasn’t working. Our emails were getting .04% open rates, which is horrible to say the very least. Something simply wasn’t right, but honestly I personally didn’t know what it was and I was out of ideas.
In January of this year I brought in STUDENTS of Ricco (You will meet him on our Elite Profits Webinars). These were people who have paid him upwards of $25,000 to teach them this whole CPA Email Marketing process and they agreed to have a private session with myself and my team here in my hometown. They were some insanely nice guys and ridiculously smart. They spent 2 full days with us showing us things I had personally NEVER thought about when it came to sending emails. Now these aren’t guys with courses on JVZoo or anywhere else for that matter. These are guys who are doing $200k to $300k per month sending emails, and that’s what they focus on every single day.
So taking their advice I created a flow chart for my team. Do this here, do that there… every single step of the way and said ok… let’s do this! In January we hit “restart” and we focused on doing CPA mailing THE RIGHT WAY… the results were absolutely astounding.
The Results:
– $49,268.50 in month one (January 2015)
– $22,313.00 in month two (February 2015)
– $584.00 in month three (March 2015)
– $14,320.00 in month four (April 2015)
– $37,626.50 in month five (May 2015)
That’s over $100,000 in the first 5 months… and again this is with people sending emails that have NEVER SENT AN EMAIL IN THEIR LIFE… Now they did have me helping them through this process they didn’t just do this entirely on their own. I actually started building a training for them and that’s what became “Email Domination” a lot of this was simply my training for my staff during this case study.
Things we learned during this process….
1. You have to be consistently looking for new offers. Look at March… how did we go down to just $584? Simple the offer we were mailing capped out quickly and basically we just “stopped mailing” until they told us it was live again. THIS WAS NOT SMART because we just wasted a ton of money plus our sender scores / sending reputation took a hit because no mail went out for so long. The offer came back on board in April and we started mailing and as you can see the results were good, but not as good as they had been prior to the stopping of mail. By May we were back on track doing over double the previous month. LESSON LEARNED HERE… always be looking for good offers to mail to your list don’t bank on just one offer.
2. Testing matters immensely which is really why I designed this whole Email Domination program in the first place. My goal was to show people (you in particular) how important it was/is to TEST before sending your newsletters to your entire list. We have hundreds upon hundreds of test emails that go out each week before we send a newsletter, and it’s made an incredible difference in our success.
3. Lead Generation Offers ROCK – Yeah I had NEVER mailed a lead generation offer prior to this…. well maybe some IM ones here or there, but nothing like this experiment. I can tell you that it’s by far the simplest way to convert emails into commissions. The end user buys absolutely NOTHING and you still get paid. The payouts are insane… some upwards of $40 to even $100 per lead…amazing stuff to say the least. I highly suggest you try this if you have never done it.
4. List Segmenting Is Key – Here’s what I mean by that and it’s super intriguing. Some companies inbox better to Gmail than others, and guess what some inbox better to AOL than others and so on and so forth. It might sound crazy, but when I moved a segment of my list over to iContact and tested I had HUGE AOL complaints. Now this never happened in Get Response. I realized, wow, I haven’t been hitting the inbox at all to my list in GR. Segmenting your list by @gmail.com , @yahoo.com, @hotmail.com and @aol.com is key. I can determine if I am able to inbox at all from a certain AR company and if not I can test others for that specific ESP. I can also test certain email messages to each segment of my list. The email I sent to my @gmail.com subscribers might inbox great there, but not inbox to @aol.com for instance. Getting super granular is the key to massive success and the ability to scale quickly.

It’s well worth watching because it gives you great insight from someone who’s brand new to this and has generated well over $30,000.
