” How About Subscribers For A Nickel? “
So I am sure you’d LOVE to get subscribers for only a nickel right? Especially from a platform like Facebook! Now if you ran Facebook Ads it would be nearly impossible to get an actual opt in subscriber for a nickel. You might get a “click” for a nickel, but we all know our landing pages don’t convert at 100%! This means you would end up (even getting clicks for a nickel) spending probably at least .20c per subscriber running Facebook Ads. Here’s how that math breaks down:
100 Clicks X .05 ea = $5.00
25% Opt In Rate = 25 new subscribers
Cost Per Subscriber = .20 cents
Now this isn’t entirely BAD… I mean most people would JUMP at subscribers for only .20 each especially coming from Facebook, however, there are still a couple of issues with the above scenario. This makes the biggest assumption of all, which is that you can get clicks for only 5 cents. Clicks for .05 cents isn’t a walk in the park and would require a TON of tweaking, testing and probably “lost” money from testing just to achieve that result. We also are assuming a 25% opt in rate, which again is on the higher end of what most people truly get when they run Facebook Ads. The last assumption made is that you can even get an ad approved by Facebook! Let’s be honest they haven’t been “easy” to work with lately when it comes to running ads.
